The festival event theme is a popular one and for good reason! A festival themed event brings all the best bits of festivals, live music, drinks in the sun, good food, stall and games. Yet it ensures the not so great bits, slogging around in the mud, finding your tent in the dark, and endless queuing doesn’t make an appearance. Our Oxshott mobile bar hire team was called into action to support this one.
Working with our friends at Vanilla Bean Event Catering, this private party with a festival event theme took place in the beautiful village of Oxshott in Surrey. We had the pleasure of providing two of our mobile bars, barware, and 6 of our professional flair bartenders. We have the unique advantage of being linked with the World Flair Association at Ace Bar Events and, as a result, we are able to offer some of the world’s best flair bartenders for service.
We have been involved in a few festival themed events over the years, from corporate dos to private parties, however, this was one of the greatest. Although it took place at a private residence, rather than a local field, there was more than enough space for all the great activities of a festival, from two bar areas serving festival themed drinks in festival themed buckets and rustic tin cans., to food stalls, inflatables, live music and a coconut shy. And who doesn’t love a coconut shy!
Our flair bartenders doubled up as extra entertainment for this festival event theme, serving a wide range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks to around 200 guests in what was glorious weather. Although having any drink made for you is great, watching the bartender do it in a way that involves catching a bottle behind their head and spinning a cocktail tin on their finger does make it that much better.
Aside from bartenders for hire, mobile bars are where we specialise and we had two on hire for this event. Our grass effect bar from the HD range, constructed as an island bar, and our craft wood bar from the Classic range. The HD range of mobile bars are put together with high definition images on the fascia and LED backlighting, with the option to have this on or off of course. The Classic range, on the other hand, is built using natural materials for the fascia such as craft wood in this case, or mirrored glass as another example.
