We had the pleasure of supporting a private client’s 50th birthday party for around 200 guests with our circular island bar hire, flair bartenders, and much more. It was a grand event held close to the picturesque area of Walton-on-Thames in Surrey. Working closely with our friends at Vanilla Bean Catering who provided the excellent selection of food and snacks, we stuck to the drinks alongside a few extras from our props and theme team to add to the different themed areas of the marquee.
The client was looking for one of our most stunning mobile bars, we suggested our LED circular bar, with the purple slate finish. The finish is beautiful and it really stands out from your standard LED bar hire, as you can see in some of these other events it has featured at. It was clear early on that we were going to go with the circular island bar hire as this allowed the mobile bar to sit centre stage in the marquee, allowing the guests to approach in search of refreshment, from all aspects.
As well as our LED circular bar we manned the space with three of our best flair bartenders, who not only efficiently and expertly create a variety of drinks and cocktails for you but do it in an entertaining and almost mesmerising fashion. Have you ever seen a flair bartender in full flow, building a couple of Mojitos? You wont want to go back to a ‘standard’ bartender again!
Our 3.1 meter circular island bar hire was featuring from our HD range, as did the other themed back lit panels you can see dotted around the corners of the marquee in some of the images. Each corner of the marquee was themed with furniture and imagery to reflect the 4 different main cultural influences on the clients family tree.
In this case the 4 different areas and themes were the USA, England, Egypt, and Scotland. This was a really fun theme to put together alongside our LED bar hire, as we had the idea of selecting an obvious cultural image from each of the countries and then superimposing the clients face somewhere within it. The guests found it particularly entertaining!
Using our LED backlit panels, our in house design team created the imagery in Photoshop and then copied the imagery over to sit perfectly across a trio of the LED panels. As you may be able to see from some of the images, we went for Mount Rushmore for the USA, a Sphinx for Egypt, a bagpipe player in front of a castle for Scotland and a Beefeater for England.
