The Cambridge Cocktail Weekend (CCW) is designed to celebrate the great cocktails and bars that Cambridge has to offer, alongside some of the global spirits superstars all showcased in one room. Last year the Corn Exchange was packed to the gills with bars and saw over 2,000 through the doors enjoying delicious cocktails, with plenty of partying and dancing until late to brilliant live bands and DJs and this year was no different with our branded cocktail bar featuring for the World Flair Association.
The WFA were holding an international Grand Slam competition at the Cambridge Cocktail Weekend taking place on the Friday and the Saturday, they also had their own mobile bar featuring their official merchandise and a range of tasty cocktails. Some of the worlds biggest names in flair bartending were competing, such as current World Champion – Marek Posluszny, as well as Dennis Trifanovs and Ilona Turintseva. There was £5000 in prize money up for grabs as well as awards for best female, best cocktail and best #FABBRiFlip.
Our 4 meter branded bar for the WFA stood in the main hall of the Cambridge Corn Exchange, off to the side alongside the other bars and stalls. Selected from our HD Range, all of the fascias were designed especially for the WFA featuring their branding and imagery. With our HD Range of mobile bars we are able to put almost any branding and imagery on the front, or on the backdrop of the mobile bar – this can also be backlit by a huge range of LED colours. As well as providing the mobile bar and the backdrop we also arranged for two of our professionals mixologists to man the bar, preparing cocktails for the huge amount of guests that came through the CCW over the weekend.
As well as providing a range of cocktails from the bar our bartenders were also acting as sales assistants, selling and promoting the WFA merchandise and brand. Our branded mobile bars have been used in many different corporate and business settings.
