Brief:

Following the success of a World Cup party four years previously, our clients contacted us again with a similar brief. This time it was on a much larger scale to mark the England vs Panama football match which took place in Russia. The client hosted a day and night festival-style event for over 1000 attendees. There were big screens to display the matches, football pitches, food stalls, live music, entertainment and fairground rides. We were brought in to provide our professional themed bar hire, co-ordinate a show, bar staff and to manage the stock for the event.

Solution:

We set up a 5 metre island bar, with a half-and-half split design. One half was dressed with gold mirrored fascias and a Soviet Union design backdrop as a token to Russia, where the game took place. The other side of the bar presented our craft wood fascias with nature imagery backdrops, displaying an English countryside theme. Our international staff database meant that as well as providing English bartenders, we flew in Moscow’s top flair bartender to provide some Russian culture and a selection of Russian inspired cocktails.

Our world class bartenders were also requested to entertain the crowd, performing an ever-impressive routine to leave the crowds flabbergasted.
