Its the most wonderful time of the year, the decorations are going up, christmas trees are starting to line the front windows and those two locals who always seem to go overboard on the christmas lights are at it again! What lay in store for Ace Bar Events and the team was a short journey up and over to Birmingham, the Hilton Metropole to be exact, for the Virgin Media Christmas Party – and what a party it was!
We are a sucker for a good superhero movie, Marvel or DC Comics we really do not mind – so long as there are some superpowers involved! And this is exactly the theme that the Virgin Media team decided upon, Superheroes! All of the guests were dressed and donned in superhero attire, as were the staff and of course the superhero themed mobile bar. The event was for around 600 people and in particular for one of the departments at the Virgin Media offices in Birmingham.
Our design team were tasked with ensuring the superhero theme flowed into and around the mobile bar – rather than the mobile bar being a little over the top, the brief was strong and stylish. And what better route to take than Captain America’s shield laid across the 4 large LED panels that provided a background for the mobile bar.
All in all Ace Bar Events supported the event working closely with Table Art UK – who provided some absolutely fantastic centrepieces. We provided one of our 6 meter LED mobile bars, which you can see in the accompanied images, along with the 4 LED background panels to set the scene. Our mixologists and professional flair bartenders were not required on this occasion as the request was for a dry bar hire, which we are more than happy to provide. As you can see the bar and background panels, if you opt for them, can be designed to house any image or display any colour.
Working closely with our in house design team before hand, you will be able to design exactly how your superhero themed mobile bar, or any other mobile bar, will look at the event.
