We recently had the pleasure of installing our beautiful mirrored island bar as a dry mobile bar hire, in the VIP and hospitality area at The Queen’s Club for the Aegon Championship tennis tournament. Televised each and every year, the Queen’s Club tennis is the run up to Britain’s most renowned tennis tournament, Wimbledon, and like Wimbledon it is also played on grass. The first multipurpose sports complex ever built anywhere in the world, Queen’s boasts first class sporting facilities alongside an elegant restaurant, cafe, museum and the President’s Room – all of which are located within the Members’ Clubhouse.
A stones throw from Earls Court in London, sitting in West Kensington, The Queen’s Club represents one of the most sought after sports memberships in the country.
Located just outside the Members Clubhouse was a two tiered temporary structure that acted as an outdoor terrace for VIP guests of The Queen’s Club. Centre stage on the terrace was our dry bar hire in the shape of the mirrored island bar where all manner of food and refreshments were served throughout the week. This bar in particular is perfect for a VIP bar hire setting as it not only achieves a certain level of affluence and exclusivity in its aesthetics but is also expertly equipped to deal with the needs of almost any group of guests.
Those charged with organising the hospitality and VIP area at The Queen’s Club came across our mirrored island bar from previous events and had also been recommended our services based on the portability and fully equipped nature of our mobile bars. It is generally not easy to move a mobile bar on to the second floor of a temporary structure, however all of our mobile bars can be broken down into a number of different modules that then fold up into flight cases; ensuring that our mobile bars can be set up in even the most awkward or inaccessible of places.
Fully equipped for almost any event our mobile bars, even in a dry bar hire setting, are fitted with speed rails, insulated ice wells with drainage, as well as a fully integrated sink and tap system. Although for this event we were not required to supply any form of drink, alcohol or staff, for most VIP bar hire situations we can ensure everything you need is available.
