This week we had the pleasure of organising a cocktail experience event for a corporate client, within the stunning grounds and buildings of Stoke Park, Buckinghamshire. This is not our first event at Stoke Park, having held a cocktail experience or two, here in the past. The event consisted of an intimate cocktail experience for a small group of hand picked executives, as well as the installation of one of our vintage mobile cocktail bar hire.
Stoke Park is a private sporting and leisure estate in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire. The Mansion building (designed by James Wyatt in 1788) is located in the middle of 300 acres of parkland, lakes, gardens and monuments. In 1908 it became the first Country Club and Hotel in the UK and in 2013 it was awarded 5 Red AA Stars, the highest accolade for service and facilities for hotels, by The AA.
The cocktail experience took place within one of the small drawing rooms within the main house of Stoke Park, where naturally there is no bar to hand. As a result we scoured our vintage mobile bar offering to find something that would fit in nicely with the beautiful period interior decor of Stoke Park. Previously used in an event for the Fresh Group and the Great British Afterparty at the Velodrome on the Olympic Park, this vintage mobile cocktail bar was a perfect fit.
The cocktail experience was the main focus of the day, with only a small group of handpicked executives chosen to come along by the client. As a result the session was a very relaxed one, focussing on team building, interaction between the different executives, and improving their all round cocktail knowledge. As this session followed a day of intense meetings for these executives, the whole target of the session was to aid in relaxation, reflection, and team building. During the session the guests got to make many different cocktails, including 3 classics: the Negroni, Bramble, and Cosmopolitan.
