Call us brave, or call us foolish, but we decided to send some of our cocktail boxes to some great UK based food and drink bloggers to get their take. Although we wanted to introduce some of our different cocktails to their followers we were also keen to get their thoughts and feedback on our new little venture. All of these ladies have a lot of experience when it comes to trying all manner of food and drinks so we were eager to find out if we matched up to the rest!
Who tried them? And what did they think?
@Birkbites
A self-confessed brunch, cocktail, burger and coffee addict, we sent our Variety Box to @birkbites, which contains 6 different cocktails, each of which is ready to drink:
Cocktails in the variety box included:
????Pornstar Martini
????Mango Margarita
????Amarspresso Martini
????Papaya & Ginger Daiquiri
????Bergamot Gin Collins
????Whisky Iced Tea Collins
With our ready to drink variety box all you have to do is squeeze the contents of each cocktail bottle into a shaker with ice, shake and serve!
I think it’s safe to say @birkbites was a fan! Thanks, for the lovely comments!
“I’m SO impressed with the quality of these cocktails – they taste exactly like drinks you’d get in a nice fancy bar. The fruity ones were my fave – so zesty, tangy and sweet ???????? This is such a fun idea for a sophisticated night in, especially a date night❣️????????”
@tinygirleatsworld
@tinygirleats world is tiny (well that’s a given), hungry and apparently always eats more than people think she can! We sent her our pornstar martini cocktail box – here is how she got on…
@tinygirleatsworld didn’t have cocktail shaker to hand, so rather creatively used an empty jam jar with ice to shake up the cocktails!
Here’s what she thought, “Everything comes packaged well with a recipe card giving you clear instructions about how to mix up your drink. My top tip is that if you don’t have cocktail equipment at home (which I don’t, buy you can also buy a kit from @acebarevents ) :
Use a old jar to shake everything up in and then strain! ????
The ingredients in these kits last for a month, so if you don’t drink it all in your first go (which is unlikely because they are so delicious & you’ll keep wanting more), you can store these away for another rainy day when you need a cocktail pick me up”.
@thatlondonduo
@thatlondonduo specialises in London food reviews and vlogs, and it looks as if we may have given them a night to remember with our Imperial Iced Tea cocktail box.
Here is what she had to say! “So this is how we spent our Thursday evening- making delicious cocktails!!!
@acebarevents have just created some cocktail boxes/ they give you everything in a box and all you need at home is a shaker, ice and a glass which is super handy!!! Even though bars will open next weekend, I love making cocktails at home and having a chill evening with friends and music! ????
I chose to make the Imperial ice tea! It’s a peachy and lemon flavour with a vodka base! It was so good- I have never had this cocktail before so I thought it would be fun to try something new! ????????”
What are the cocktail boxes?
