Our Solihull cocktail bar hire has been busy as of late, recently being called out for a private 50th party for Simon in Solihull! We have worked with Simon’s family before for their daughters 21st birthday celebrations and were very happy to return to their beautiful abode.
Simon is a bit of golf fanatic and as such we decided to theme the mobile bar, our flair bartenders and mixologists to a golfing theme. We selected a front for the mobile bar that evoked a traditional golf clubhouse feel and of course dressed up the guys in their finest golfing polos, jumpers and hats! The client was very happy with the way the golf theme turned out for this small and intimate celebration with about 60 guests in attendance. They even had a fair few golfing trophies to add to the themed decor (as you can see below).
The signage and extra decorations were provided by the guests, with us focussing on what we do best – the mobile cocktail bar, all associated drinks, and professional staff to provide only the top level of service. We wish we had that many impressive trophies! But alas we do not..
What we do have however, is a fantastic instinct for throwing a great party. With the right mixture of alcohol, entertainment from the flair staff, and bespoke custom built bars this golfing get-together proved a night to remember. Along with providing all barware and glassware we usually put together a cocktail menu for the event in question, however, this time around our guests knew exactly what they wanted – The Bees Knees: A beautiful blend of gin, lemon juice, and honey syrup served with a dehydrated lemon slice.
Along with our staff, glassware, cocktails and mobile cocktail bar we also acquired a few kegs from Hertfordshire’s famous Tring Brewery, following a prior request from the guests. The client is a big fan of real ale and we were more than happy to approach the Tring Brewery for two kegs of their finest, considering its reputation as a quality brewer. Here at Ace Bar Events we are very conscious of every ingredient and item we use, from the gin that goes into the cocktails to the barware and glassware on display, we only invest and use high quality products.
