Since March, when events, as we know it, ground to a halt, we have been partaking in a little online cocktail making with our online cocktail classes! As with all new things, we have been refining the formula and adding new and different features to ensure that our online cocktail classes are the best they can be. Whether it is for private parties or company team-building sessions, cocktail making online is a great way to get everyone together for a bit of socially distanced fun (and that is hard to come by!).
So, what have we added to our online cocktail making as of late? First off, we wanted to ensure that the show, the theatre you experience when you go to a nice bar and order a cocktail isn’t lost. So, we’ve done what we can to add to the drama of our online cocktail classes. Starting of course, with our studio bar! The studio bar is where we host all of our online events, and along with a few new decorations, we have added a touch of mood lighting to set the tone!
It’s not all just pretty things and shiny lights, however, we have also added some cool new technical features to the delivery of our online cocktail classes. What is a mainstay at almost any bar you visit? Background music of course, and we aren’t talking a little music playing over our microphone on the video call. This is carefully chosen music (themed if you prefer), fed directly into the video call at a controlled level, ensuring everyone can enjoy the music in the best quality and it doesn’t drown out anyone’s voice! After all, half of the fun of cocktail making online is hearing the funny noises people make when they shake a cocktail for the first time!
We can also deliver a whole range of on-screen graphics during our online cocktail classes. So, if you want a personalised greeting, company logo, or anything else then we can make it happen. This carries through to on-screen instructions and prompts too, this is a great accessible feature and ensures all your friends or every member of the team can fully enjoy the online cocktail making experience.
Expect a few of our professional top tips on cocktail making, a very satisfying number of cocktails to drink, and as an added benefit, your own cocktail kit to keep! Every participant in an online cocktail class will be shipped one of our mini cocktail kits, along with the ingredients for 9 cocktails (inspired by our popular cocktail boxes). All that is left for you to provide is ice for the cocktail shaking and a keen eye for placing your garnish! (see below!)
