C&IT’s Agency Forum took place earlier this week and kicked off with an afternoon at Thorpe Park with 200 events professionals in attendance, representing more than 80 agencies and 50 suppliers. The three-day event, which takes place from 5-7 August at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge and Thorpe Park in Chertsey, provides senior event agency representatives with the opportunity to attend educational sessions, meet suppliers and network during a series of evening activities.

Speakers for the event included Nathalie Maddocks, senior buyer, events at Jaguar Land Rover, who discussed how agencies can demonstrate the value of events to clients; and Dawn Severn, events manager at AXA Insurance, who talked about measuring ROI on events. Other corporate representatives include Rachel Hobson, head of events for BAE Systems Applied Intelligence and Karen Sawyer, head of group events at Lloyds Banking Group.

Here at Ace Bar Events we were tasked with supporting the overall event with our usual mixture of a vibrant mobilebar, high quality cocktails, and our show-stopping professional flair bartenders. C&IT opted for one of our LED backlit themed mobile bars, the LED bars are great for a variety of themes and businesses as we can change out the overlay over the LED backlight, and the LED’s can change to a variety of colours! This time around it was a Brazilian Carnival themed mobile bar, as you can see below:

The cocktails on offer were of course in keeping with the Brazilian Carnival theme – an interesting range of, potentially Brazil’s most famous cocktail, the Caipirinha! Amongst our selection of cocktails on offer was the Classic Caipirinha, a Passion Fruit Caipirinha, further variations on the Caipirinha included a Mango version, an Acai Berry concoction, and a Coconut Caipirinha!
