Over the March bank holiday weekend, we had our mobile bar hire in Manchester, for the World Flair Association World Series 2016, which took place on Peter Street. The World Flair Association are an association set up in 2008, with over 7000 members, solely dedicated towards the advancement of flair bartending as both a skilful art and a form of entertainment for the masses. Each year they hold a number of Grand Slam competitions around the world, which crown a new World Champion. This year the WFA held the Grand Slam in Manchester and it was called the World Series, a new style of competition compared to previous years.
We were drafted in by the WFA to provide our full event management and support service with mobile bars. This meant supporting the World Series from set up – right through to pack up. Two different mobile bar’s were needed for this particular event, one to serve as the typical bar and point of sale, and another to serve as the competition platform (pictured above).
As you can see the main bar, which served as the point of sale, was rather large when fully constructed and fully kitted out with serving stations for each bartender, as well as speed rails. This top of the range set-up allows the bar staff to move around the bar quickly and efficiently – serving customers in a timely manner. Both bars were fitted with our state of the art LED panels and uniquely branded with the WFA logo, as well as their sponsors. And the main bar also had our LED background panels which can be fantastic for setting the scene – and also branded if required (pictured below):
As the mobile bar hire in Manchester came alongside our full event management and support service in this instance, most of our responsibilities were centred around making sure the whole event ran smoothly all evening. As part of our support package we provided a number of staff including some our best flair bartenders and mixologists to manage the bar and make sure all guests are satisfied and served quickly.
