Working with our good friends at Vanilla Bean Catering we helped in the support of an event for D’Nata & Cathay Pacific with our LED dry bar hire service. D’Nata is one of the largest suppliers of combined air services in the world, offering aircraft ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering services across five continents. Today, D’Nata employs over 27,000 employees across 38 countries and 75 airports, servicing over 150 airlines. Cathay Pacific is the flagship airline carrier for Hong Kong, their operations include scheduled passenger and cargo services to 200 destinations in over 52 countries worldwide.

Organised in one of Cathay Pacific’s aircraft carriers the customer retention event was held by D’Nata, and due to the nature of the event, creating a state-of-the-art and exclusive atmosphere was a must. D’Nata recognise that everything from the choice of the venue, to the condition of the mobile bar, and the choice of drinks on offer – can all reflect back on the event organiser.

Around 100 guests were in attendance from both companies with the event proving highly successful and enjoyable. Vanilla Bean Catering provided all of the catering requirements – whereas our sole responsibility was the dry bar hire – ensuring that it was correctly branded up and in good working order throughout the event. This was not our first event inside an airplane hangar, having supported the Poker Stars event on the Isle of Man, in 2015 – however, it is clear that aircraft hangars make fantastic venues, with great acoustics and a really interesting space to work with.
