Covid safe has become a term we are all still getting used to, although in short it just means anything that has taken the utmost precautions against the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus, such as our Covid safe cocktail bar hire! What does a Covid safe cocktail bar even entail? Well, Covid safe cocktail bars are much like the popular mobile bars we have been supplying for years, albeit with a few new features and the addition of PPE.
The show must go on, life must continue and that is what we are starting to see in the events industry with celebrations, parties and gatherings starting to pick up again, albeit in smaller numbers and with social distancing measures in some cases. This event in which our Covid safe cocktail bar hire was involved, was a wedding reception in Bagshot, Surrey.
The scale of the wedding had been reduced with the number of guests at 30, however, this was the perfect number for one of our Covid safe cocktail bars, which was featured in the grounds of the church following the ceremony.
Throw in two of our professional bartenders and a range of drinks from our prestigious Pétrus menu and you have yourself a wedding reception to remember. The Pétrus menu includes unlimited drinks, such as pre-chosen cocktails, premium spirits and mixers and craft beers. As well as everything else you need for a few hours of good fun in the sun, such as glassware hire, garnishes, ice, decorations and support staff.
The cocktails the bride and groom went for were the Conquistador, Officer’s Punch, and the Temptrest. The Conquistador is a unique and stunning margarita style drink, featuring homemade premium silver tequila infused with coriander and combined with crushed pineapple. Jalapeno agave, fresh zesty lime and our signature smoked spiced salt finish off this wondrous drink. The Temptrest, is an Asian inspired twist on the iconic porn star martini, featuring vanilla vodka, aromatic chai tea, passionfruit, yuzu and fresh lime. Finally, the Officer’s Punch, and cocktails don’t get more punchy than this. Not for the faint-hearted, this rum punch uses our very own secret rum blend, allspice berry liqueur, spiced lime liqueur and tropical and citrus juices.

The drinks were prepared and served by our team of professional bartenders, as you can see from the images, were donned head to toe in protective gear to ensure the highest standards of hygiene safety. Every one of our mobile bars also comes fitted with a sink with running water and hand sanitiser. The bride and groom opted for our 2-meter craft wooden bar for the occasion, and we were also very happy to source some last-minute gazebos to cover for a little dodgy English summer weather.
