The Chesterfield ranks top in the all time furniture design stakes. In fact, it is probably safe to say that the Chesterfield is the most famous sofa design in the world. This classic design has been around in various forms for over 300 years so it wins the award for longevity too! Theories abound as to the origins of the Chesterfield design, with most historians pointing the finger at the 4th Earl of Chesterfield, Phillip Stanhope. This classy chap had an eye for the finer things in life and beautiful furniture was his thing.
Still to this day the Chesterfield design is very popular and naturally, so is our leather fascia mobile bar. In the style of a black Chesterfield, this mobile bar is perfect for a variety of events where the theme may be one of luxury and opulence, or even subtle and professional. The Chesterfield mobile bar has been in action recently for two separate corporate events, first at the Hotel Duvin in Birmingham and then at the wondrous Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire. Both events were for corporate clients who were holding team building events for members of their firms in the shape of our unique cocktail experience.
Each involved about 20 people, which is a good number for a cocktail experience. The arrangement of the day is entirely based around your expectations of how you would like your day to go, whilst our friendly staff guide your teams into the world of mixology and flair making sure you gain the most out of the experience.
The day typically involves everything from a cocktail reception, to a pour test, cocktail speed round, creativity round and prize giving – although as we said before we can put it together as you see fit.
