It was another busy weekend for our mobile bar hire, branded cocktails and our flair bartenders with the Nando’s Annual Conference taking place at the wonderful Celtic Manor, pictured above. Celtic Manor Resort is a golf, spa and leisure hotel and resort in Newport, south Wales. It consists of two adjoining hotels, a country inn, luxury lodges, two spas, 6 restaurants, three championship golf courses, two golf and country clubs, high ropes courses, adventure golf, laser tag, archery and a multi-purpose conference centre. It was the venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup, the first to be held in Wales. So there is certainly plenty to do for the guests following the end of the evening.
In attendance were 500 guests from within the Nando’s group and after the formalities were out the way, we were tasked with really getting the party started, helping people let their hair down, and enjoy themselves. We had three of our best flair bartenders, who were stationed behind one of our 6 meter long LED mobile bar’s – and in-between making the bespoke branded Nando’s cocktails, were entertaining the guests with various, almost unbelievable, shows of skill – balancing and throwing bottles in ways you would think not possible!
In addition to supplying flair bartenders, and an LED mobile bar, we also provided all of the stock – and a bespoke touch – two very specially designed branded cocktails. We are very proud of our branded cocktails and will relish the opportunity to design one, two, or how ever many cocktails are required, around your company’s brand values and ethos. Naturally Nando’s is defined by a number of things, including its Latin roots and chilli spice! As a result, we designed two branded cocktails especially for the Nando’s Annual Conference:
– Spicy Terry: 37.5ml Chocolate Liquor (Mozart is the preferred choice), 25ml Dark Rum, 50ml Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice, 1 Chilli, 15ml Sugar Syrup. 1 Martini Glass, 0.25kg Cubed Ice, 1 Beverage Napkin.
– Samba Passion: 37.5ml Cachaca, 100ml Passion Fruit Juice, 12.5ml Chilli Syrup, 12.5ml Lemon Juice, 1 Fresh Chilli, 1 Fresh Passion Fruit, 1 Collins Glass, 0.25kg Cubed Ice, 1 Beverage Napkin.
