Branded bars for events or a branded mobile bar for events are an excellent way to help your business stand out from the crowd, particularly at exhibitions and trade shows. A lot of different brands and businesses have been turning to branded bars for events as they typically offer a more cost effective option than having a temporary stand constructed; which will quite often only be used once.
We always relish a challenge here at Ace Bar Events and when JDA requested our services to put together an illuminated branded bar for the Gartner Summit 2018, we were interested to hear about their specific requirements. Illuminated branded bars are usually quite a straightforward exercise for the team, however for this occasion JDA needed to ensure brand consistency and the JDA brand is known for being illuminated and standing strong in the foreground. Using one of our branded bars for events from the HD range our in house design team was able to cleverly curate a fascia that would only have the lettering of the JDA brand illuminated and nothing else. An illuminated branded bar stands out enough on its own, but by subduing the background and illuminating the lettering in the foreground the result was a very cool and noticeable branded mobile bar.
JDA used one of our branded bars for events specifically for the Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference 2018 that took place at the Intercontinental Hotel at the 02 in Greenwich, London. This event attracts supply chain leaders and teams from around the world to discover how to set strategic goals appropriate to their organisation’s maturity level. Built on providing the best advice to supply chain professionals, the Gartner Summit is about redefining the concept of what a supply chain should do to drive value for an organisation. JDA wanted to create an open and relaxing space for the evening section of networking, a place where delegates can catch up on the days events whilst enjoying a cold beer and chatting to some of the JDA representatives.
This is where the branded mobile bar for events can really excel as an exhibition stand. Naturally, as the exhibition stand is actually a mobile bar, fully kitted out with ice wells, speed rails and even a sink if need be – it is designed for serving drinks. And that is just what JDA had two of our professional bartenders do. Although in order to keep it simple and not overcomplicate the exhibition stand with people asking for various cocktails, etc – they stuck to a range of bottled beers. Trust us when we say a bottle of beer at an exhibition such as this acts as incentive enough to draw people in.
Furthermore, our bartenders ensured the beers would poured in the correct way – you may be thinking how hard is it to pour a beer? Well the answer is that many people will sill pour it incorrectly. When beer is bottled a large amount of c02 also ends up in the bottle with it, keeping it fizzy. Unless this c02 is coaxed out it also then ends up in your stomach, which is what causes the uncomfortable bloated feeling you can get from drinking beer. Our bartenders were releasing the c02 in the only way they know how, with a bit of style, performing a quick and vigorous upside down pour in one motion that leaves you with a glass of beer with the perfect size head.
Not only did this further enhance the experience of visiting the JDA stand, it also meant those who did visit didn’t end up leaving feeling uncomfortable and bloated. All of these factors, believe it or not, can play into a potential conversion in places of high competition like trade shows and exhibitions.
We have supported lots of brands over the years with our branded bars for events, you can take a look at some of them here. Including a huge mobile bar for ODK, and a small branded champagne bar for Heidieck & Co Monopole for the Aviva Tour of Britain.
