This time around it was a daytime corporate event with an all round 1950’s American theme! But forget the Cold War and the Suez Crisis – this was the era of the some fantastic hairstyles, some very suave suits, electric toys, and of course the Soda and Milkshake boom! 1950’s America was a golden age for those who lived during it, the cost of living was low and technological advancements from World War 2 were now finding there way into shops and peoples homes – such as the microwave and the television. It was time of luxury and edgy design – and this is something we tried to replicate in the bespoke design of our American Diner themed mobile bar (pictured below).
Our bespoke American Diner Themed Mobile Bar
We have a wide variety of mobile bars to choose from but we also offer the opportunity for you to design or talk us through the design of your very own mobile bar – specific for your event. The corporate event was for 500 guests all of which came dressed to the hilt in their American style 1950’s suits, dresses, blouses, skirts – and assortments of hats and pearls!
Our main role, alongside the design and implementation of the American Diner themed mobile bar, was the provision of a number of our most talented mixologists and flair bar staff. Our staff provided entertainment for the 500 guests in attendance performing a variety of jaw-dropping tricks, which means waiting for your drink is all that much more enjoyable.
In true 1950’s American style, all of our bar staff were dressed accurately as staff from an American Diner and all the drinks they prepared were accurate too – all of which were non-alcoholic. We had everything from strawberry sodas, to flavoured ice coffees, banana thick shakes, root beers, and all sorts of different sodas! The bar staff were on top form as always – wowing the guests with their tricks:
