Earlier this week, Gillette took over and hosted an event at the Bond in Motion Museum to celebrate the upcoming release of Spectre. Naturally the event was 007 themed, with a raft of experiences fit for any Double 0 – including prestige grooming, a unique selection of fine food and drink, and the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of Britain’s most elite. Naturally the dress was formal black tie, although we threw on an apron as well for good measure!
Our role as sole flair and drinks providers was of course to ensure all guests were well looked after and well watered! However, one of our key tasks for the event was to provide some of the guests with an opportunity to watch and learn how to make James Bond’s most iconic drink – the Martini, shaken not stirred. The Martini cocktails were the star of the show, our flair bartenders did a fantastic job of recreating the famous Martini, synonymous with Bond himself – this doesn’t just involve taste and image, but also style and precision to really pull it off.
The whole idea of the event was to evoke ‘Bond Moments’ in the guests: set up that special moment, provide them with that feeling where they feel like the most confident, sexy, and capable man in the room – just as 007 would himself. Dressed to the nines, in a very classy setting surrounded by classy cars, this is what being 007 is all about and this was the experience we helped create for all of Gillette’s guests.
