Here at Ace Bar Events we provide a range of services, such as flair bartenders, professional mixologists, and event management. What we really specialise in is mobile bar hire however, another field where we have also had a lot of interest is our Molecular Mixology.
Molecular mixology is the process of creating cocktails using the equipment and techniques of molecular gastronomy. These methods enable the creation of greater intensities and varieties of flavour, flavour combinations and different ways of presenting drinks, for example using gels, powders, foams, atomised sprays etc, as well as affecting the appearance of the cocktails.
We have held a number of molecular mixology focussed events in the past, including a few at gastronomy specialists Aveqia. Our most recent Molecular Mixology outing however was for a private party in the Hampstead area – as opposed to the event we supported before this which was for 400 people – this event was far more focussed and individual with only 15 or so guests to look after. We were told what each course of food would entail and it was our task to come up with some cocktail creations that would truly accompany the food beautifully:
